On 18th February, Spread a Smile hosted its much-anticipated Winter Party at Protein STUDIOS in Shoreditch, London, bringing together nearly 800 guests for an unforgettable day of fun, connection and laughter.
The charity, which is dedicated to bringing joy to seriously ill and hospitalised children and their families during long hospital stays and at home, welcomed children and young people it supports alongside their families to this very special celebration.
The free event was packed with activities and entertainment, all delivered by the Spread a Smile team and more than 92 volunteers. Highlights included creative workshops, performances, games and interactive experiences designed to create magical moments and lasting memories for every guest. Food and refreshments were also available for free from various outlets including Mildreds, LOLA’S CUPCAKES LIMITED & SushiDog.
Among the volunteers were Paula, Jodie Collett and Nadia van Woerkom from LMAC Group, who ran a popular Friendship Bracelets stall, helping children and families create personalised keepsakes to take home.
