What a brilliant launch at The Lounge in Thamesmead!
Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this new pop-up youth space in Southmere. It was inspiring to see so many people come together in support of something created with and for local young people.
As a social value initiative, LMAC supported the creation of The Lounge, a community space provided by Peabody for young people and the wider community. Co-designed with local young people alongside Beyond The Box CIC, Peabody, and partners led by Karakusevic Carson Architects, it shows what’s possible through collaboration.
